Admissions

Nursery Admissions

The School has 30 nursery places available for the morning and afternoon sessions.

Morning session is from 9.00am to 12noon

Afternoon session from 12.30pm to 3.30pm

Applications for Nursery places are made through Barnsley Local Authority. https://www.barnsley.gov.uk/services/children-families-and-education/childcare-nurseries-and-family-support/school-nursery-places/

The School does not give priority for reception places within the admissions criteria to children who attend the nursery. To do so would give an unfair advantage to children whose parents are able to take advantage of a nursery place at the school in comparison to those who have to attend other providers.

Parents will need to apply for a reception place via the process mentioned below if they would like their child to be considered for a place.

Reception Admissions

The School has 45 places for Reception.

Applications for places at the School will be made in accordance with Local Authority’s ‘Co- ordinated Admission Arrangements.  Applications must be made on the common application form (CAF) which is provided by the Local Authority.  Full details can be found by clicking the following link:- Primary school places – Barnsley Council Online
